Production Full Time

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on the posted shift. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to dry sausage hanging, toppings packaging, slicing packaging, retail packaging, Jobs are fast pace and require repetitive motion. Positions require working with beef chicken and pork. Some positions require lifting and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Applicants must be willing to wear all proper safety equipment and must be willing to work overtime and weekends if required. Must be willing to do duties assigned by supervisor. If the applicant is not contacted in the month that they applied, they will need to reapply again in the next month to be considered.
Requirements
All work is performed in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 38 to 42 degrees, or hot environment with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees and require standing 8 up to 12 hours per day.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
